All systems go on our new way of working. Trustee meetings are now held electronically, and the new database is working efficiently to receive and process applications.
The Trustees are trying to prioritise applications that are considered urgent due to the impact of Covid-19 as much as is possible.
At this meeting the Trustees considered 27 grants in the David Gibbons Foundation, and awarded £29,000. This was mainly to organisations, 3 in East Devon and the rest spread across Devon. 4 grants were made to assist individuals.
The Gibbons Family Trust awarded 21 out of a possible 26 grants, and for the 1st time ever all grants were made to Devon recipients and none to Thanet. Several applications were deferred until life returns to a more normal environment.
